The Public Health Agency of Canada has acknowledged airborne transmission of SARS-CoV-2 for nearly a year. Department of Education and Early Childhood Development emails obtained by PoPNB through Right to Information requests show officials discussing airborne spread since 2020.
Today, the GNB Covid site continues to omit airborne transmission.
Until airborne transmission is acknowledged, communicated and actively mitigated, we will not see the end of the pandemic.
The omission of airborne transmission in Public Health communication is an abject moral and ethical failure. It directly contributes to the illness, disability and death of New Brunswickers.
PoP NB has developed a brief slide deck on how Covid-19 is transmitted.

A PDF of this slide deck is available on the PoP NB website, for parents, teachers, administrators, and advocates to help understand SARS-CoV-2, how it spreads, and how to protect against it.

Covid is Airborne
Dear Sirs/Madams,
I hope you don't mind, but I have incorporated - with source references and links - several of these slides in a website that I am creating which I hope will give the average person a wider understanding of how damaging SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 is to people.
I am tired of the almost complete information blackout that surrounds this pandemic, and tired of the continuing and increasing damage to family and friends that is avoidable with good, concise information.
Your slides are at:

I hope that I may continue to use your excellent, clear and informative slides: I see no point in trying to reinvent the wheel when you have already done such a great job.
May I have your blessing? My site is non-income producing.
My best.
