Managing Long Covid: Brain Fog
Part 1 in a Series of Long Covid Symptom Self-Management Infographics
The Government of New Brunswick has yet to formally acknowledge Long Covid, going so far as to say they are waiting for federal definitions of the “potential” syndrome. Of course, the Public Health Agency of Canada defined Long Covid over half a year ago. Excessive fatigue, breathing difficulties, concentration and memory problems are some of the main symptoms of a very long list.
Because the current government has displayed blatant disregard for the well-being and long term health of New Brunswickers, it falls to volunteer advocacy groups to fulfil the role of Public Health. This series of infographics is intended to provide self-management strategies for those who are suffering from the prolonged impacts of Covid-19 infection.
If you find that your symptoms do not improve despite implementing these strategies, do not hesitate to consult your family doctor. They will be able to help you develop a personalized solution that you can integrate into your daily life. They will also be able to discuss treatment options with you and/or refer you to a specialist.
